Squeeky Suspension ?? What could it be ?

Hi,

Driving along today in my 1997 P38 Range Rover got a squeeky noise like birds singing in the trees around me. Once stopped if I bounce the near side up and down silence, if I do the same front drivers side, squeeky squeeky !! any ideas ? it still has the air suspension.

You say it occurs when on you jump on driver's side - have you looked at your seat base.

I once dropped a Hapenny bit and "squeak squeak squeak" it went for 94 yrs.

I would jet wash the seat and around the base - careful not to soak the interior - use masking tape and shopping bags.

Its not the seat, I am bouncing each side by pushing on the relevant wing or bull bar, its coming from the wheel arch area.

'Hugh Jass'. Oh dear.

Check the suspension. A can of WD40 or similar may be of help. Spray each item in turn before repeating the bouncing. This should reveal the culprit.

Try drivers side anti roll bar drop link.
