range rover

range rover starting good running alright try to accelerate but cuts out 3.5i range rover classic 1986 but runs ok when left running for awhile

This might be the Lambda sensors.

Is it AUTO? I have noticed when cold my 3.9 auto will stall if too much load is put on the engine.

I believe the auto choke self-extinguishes but not certain myself.

Too early to have lambda sensors.

Change the coolant temperature sensor - the one behind the easy one.
Check for any air leaks on the induction side.

Have you checked the dizzy cap/rotor arm. Sounds similar to mine a few years back.

BTW, don't go for pattern parts on these, only genuine one

Yes dis is true what mr Rainbird say.

Only use those which carry the genuine Landrover mark.

Have you checked the 12v memory?
