ben's been doing a great job...i don't see what people are complaining about...i've been going to at least all the plano cons since march of '99 (i've only been to one non plano one which was the one in grapevine this past sept) and i've had so much fun at all of them, partly because of the guests who come and even regardless of the guests who come...i just go to the shows to have a good time which for me includes: meeting the guests who come (most all of them are really great and i've loved meeting them), to go on a shopping spree throughout the expo room (for crying out loud you can ask anyone in my family i save all my money up and try to do as much extra stuff as possible to earn more money in a few months advance to the actual show), and to go hang out with and have fun with one of my best friends (katy who recently replied to this message as well...she doesn't live that close to me so i see her at the cons)....i think maybe people who are complaining so much just dont' know how to go to one of the shows and have a good time and enjoy themselves...well now i feel as though i've rambled so i think i'll be quiet for now and see you all who are coming to the con in plano this weekend.

Ben, I am VERRY happy with the job you are doing. If people don't like your shows they don't have to attend. I have only been to a few but am trying to attend more. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK..

Some people are sooo mean to Ben! He goes through all this hard work for our enjoyment of the shows! And what does he get? People complaining about over priced stars who don't come and people who Ben can't come to shows. And how all the other big shows has this and that. Well guess what.. Ben is only human! He isn't a genie who is there to fulfill everyone's wish! He gets enough people to make us happy. If you can't deal with his mortality.. then get lost! Ben has done more then enough. He's gone over his role of just Toy Show dude! I am thankfulf or what he's done for us. The new webpage (which looks awesome!) and new guests and ideas when he gets them! Love ya lots Ben!

I'll put in my two cents in defense of Ben as well. I come to every show I can, which is generally all of the Plano shows (I live 3 hours away). While I do get frustrated sometimes at all the Star Wars guests (Even though I am a fan, I'd personally like to see fewer), there's always a reason for me to go to the shows. All in all, I think he's got a tough job trying to please everyone, and does a good job. I'm especially excited at the horror show in October...

Well I do post sometimes but not very often so I am going to answer your question. I am VERY VERY happy! I am sooooo thankful that we have conventions in this area and good ones at that. Many places are not so lucky (keep that in mind as you guys complain about EVERYTHING). I have been to every show since July of 1998 and I won't miss any in the future if I can help it. Thanks Ben and all the Expo staff...I love you guys!!

Replying to:  I read this board a LOT. I post when I feel I can assist. I DO attend EVERY show, no matter what city. It seems that in the last few months, people are continually griping at Ben and the Expos. I will say, that some people come to his defense, but it is always the same few. I know that MANY people read message boards and NEVER post.
